Briefing at the platform of the NСE RK «Atameken» EKRB

On November 14, 2024, in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the Department of State Revenues for the East Kazakhstan Region held a briefing at the platform of the NСE RK «Atameken» EKRB, with the participation of taxpayers, representatives of consulting companies, foreign economic activity (FEA) participants, and media, both in offline and online formats via a ZOOM conference.

During the briefing, Acting Deputy Head of the Department Askhad Zhibitaev, in his speech, discussed the procedure for VAT refunds and the advantages of the "Digital VAT" pilot project for businesses.

Next, the Head of the Customs Administration Division of the State Revenue Department for the East Kazakhstan Region, Temir Kulekin, introduced the existing import and export restrictions for the Republic of Kazakhstan and announced the launch of the new customs information system «Keden» which will gradually replace the existing information systems «ASTANA-1» and the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations».

At the end of the presentations, representatives of the Department provided answers to all questions from taxpayers and the media.
