In honor of the Day of the national currency – Tenge and the day of financiers, a solemn event was held in the Department of State Revenue in the city of Shymkent. In 1993, on November 15, the national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan was introduced and entered the financial market. The tenge has achieved a number of successes over its 30-year history and has become the best banknote in the world for three years in a row. During the event, the head of the Department congratulated the employees on the holiday and noted that today the tenge is the economic basis of independence, a symbol of sovereignty, a full–fledged part of the new history and future of Kazakhstan. He wished everyone good health, family well-being, new achievements and professional success. During the festive event, the best employees were awarded the medal "Excellent Student of the Financial Service", Certificates of Honor and Letters of Thanks from the State Duma of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
