On 03/15/2023, in the Department of State Revenue in Shymkent (hereinafter- the Department), in order to attract veterans of state revenue bodies to mentoring activities, a meeting of young specialists was held with the chairman of the Council of Veterans of State Revenue Bodies in Shymkent - L. Kozbakhov.
The opening speech was made by the deputy head of the Department Eshankulov S.E. Introducing the guest of the meeting, he noted that veterans on a voluntary basis, despite their age, continue to help the state revenue authorities, take a feasible part in the education of the younger generation. An active life position, inexhaustible energy, characteristic of veterans, is an example for young people.
During the meeting, Lesbek Kozbakhov, who has worked in various responsible positions of state revenue bodies for more than 30 years, spoke about the formation of state revenue bodies of the Republic, noting that during its existence the tax system was reformed, the taxation system was changing, and the entire reform process was aimed at continuous improvement of tax legislation, improving the conditions of relations with the taxpayers' budget. The speaker noted "of course, at the beginning of formation there were difficulties in collecting taxes and replenishing the treasury, but nevertheless our work was interesting and informative." In conclusion, the guest gave a parting word to young specialists, noting "that you need to be responsible with your responsibilities, love your job, and work for the benefit of the state."
The meeting was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
