Working Visit of the Head of the Department to Kurmangazy District

As part of the business trip to the “Kurmangazy” Border Crossing Point, an inspection of the checkpoint’s infrastructure was conducted, and the conditions for organizing its operations were reviewed. Working meetings were held with representatives of the Akimat of Kurmangazy District, the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the phytosanitary service. A roundtable discussion was also held with representatives of the Transport Prosecutor’s Office, during which current issues related to crossing the state border, organization of control procedures, and the movement of freight vehicles were discussed.

During the inspection, the procedures for passing through control measures were reviewed, including passport and transport control, X-ray screening, verification of accompanying documents, availability of the electronic consignment note, and risk assessment of foreign trade participants. Particular attention was paid to the operation of the “CarGoRuqsat” electronic queue system, the functioning of information systems, and factors affecting the processing time of freight vehicles.

Following the inspection, the specific features of the checkpoint’s infrastructure, organization of vehicle traffic, conditions for conducting inspection procedures, and the current workload of checkpoint personnel were assessed, and relevant issues were identified.
