

On February 27, 2020, a seminar on ethical compliance by civil servants was held under the chairmanship of the Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Finance, K. Arystanbekova, as part of the implementation of the Ethics Commissioner's 2025 work plan.
Speakers at the seminar included D. Kozybayev, Deputy Head of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Astana; Major B. Kodebayev, Head of the Traffic Patrol Service of the Astana Police Department; and Lieutenant Colonel A. Kibatkyzy, Senior Detective for Particularly Important Cases of the Anti-Drug Department of the Astana Police Department. They discussed measures to prevent violations related to appearing in public places under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as the inadmissibility of driving while intoxicated.
Particular attention was paid to issues of non-medical use of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors, as well as the inadmissibility of driving a vehicle while intoxicated.
