Bokeyorda district was formed in 1972 in the south-west of the West Kazakhstan region. Land area - 1 921 445 ha. As of January 1, 2021, the population is 15 975 people. The administrative center is the village of Saykhin. The district consists of 7 rural districts: Saykhin, Urda, Muratsay, Bisen, Temir Masin, Uyaly and Saralzhyn.
