Bokeyorda district was formed in 1972 in the south-west of the West Kazakhstan region. Land area - 1 921 445 ha. As of January 1, 2023, the population is 15 437 people. The administrative center is the village of Saykhin. The district consists of 7 rural districts: Saykhin, Urda, Muratsay, Bisen, Temir Masin, Uyaly and Saralzhyn.
The office of the akim of Bokeyorda district provides organizational, legal, informational, analytical, advisory and logistical support for the activities of the akimat and akim of the district, as well as the implementation of state policy in the field of information support and the provision of public services.
