ARDFM and KASE met with the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and the Mongolian Stock Exchange

On May 5, 2022, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market (the Agency) and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange met with representatives of the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and the Mongolian Stock Exchange.

The meeting was held via videoconference with the participation of Vice-Chairman of the Agency Mariya Khadzhieva and Vice-Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia Tserenbadral Tudev. From the stock exchanges of the two countries, participated Vice-Chairman of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange Natalya Khoroshevskaya N.Yu. and Chairman of the Mongolian Stock Exchange Altai Khangai.

During the meeting, participants discussed the current state of the securities market in Kazakhstan and Mongolia, the latest legislative changes, as well as further plans for the development of capital markets in the two countries. 

By the end of the meeting the parties agreed to hold a series of events to exchange experiences to develop proposals for cooperation between financial regulators, as well as stock exchanges of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
