X civil forum of Kazakhstan: «30 years of partnership for sustainable development of society and the state»

On November 22-26 of current year, on the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the X Civil Forum of Kazakhstan entitled «30 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP IN THE INTERESTS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT of SOCIETY AND THE STATE» will be held in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.

The main idea of this event is a global view of the civil society of Kazakhstan: addressing the past, analyzing the present and forecasting the future.

The events of the Forum will be held in a hybrid format: the first 3 days – online, 4-5 days partially offline and online (Almaty), it is also planned to broadcast live in the media, on the YouTube channel, social networks of the Ministry of Informatization and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the week, discussion platforms in the online format, meetings of ministers with representatives of civil society via ZOOM, presentation of mini-grant projects, the ceremony of awarding the NGO (Non-Governmental Organizations) award and the Tandau Award are planned to be held within the framework of the Forum. In addition, a platform will be organized with the participation of international and foreign organizations, representatives of business structures, quasi-public sector, government agencies, where international experts will be able to share their ideas and vision of NGO development in Kazakhstan, experience in popularizing philanthropic and charitable activities in Kazakhstan to ensure the systematic development of social partnership.

According to preliminary data, it is planned to invite 150 delegates to the offline format, in compliance with social distance and quarantine measures. About 500-600 participants and spectators will participate in the online broadcast of the events.

Recall that this tradition has been organized in Kazakhstan every second year since 2003. Civic forums unite public figures of the country and over the 30 years of independence of our Republic have made a significant contribution to achieving considerable heights of civil society.
