Information on the availability of land and their distribution by categories, land owners, land users and holdings in the East Kazakhstan region as of 01.11.2020

The report was drawn up in accordance with article 14-1 of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Order of the Chairman of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 10, 2020 No. 25 "On approval of statistical forms of departmental statistical observations and instructions for filling them out on the balance of land, developed by the Committee on land management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The structure of the land fund of the East Kazakhstan region.

The territory of the East Kazakhstan region is 28322.6 thousand hectares, of which: agricultural land - 11957 thousand hectares; settlements - 2947.1 thousand hectares; industry, transport, communications, defense and other non-agricultural purposes - 135.9 thousand hectares; specially protected natural areas, health-improving, recreational and historical-cultural lands –1551.8 thousand hectares; forest land - 2153.9 thousand hectares; water fund - 571.2 thousand hectares; reserve lands - 9029.9 thousand hectares.

Agricultural land. Compared to 2019, land in this category increased by 886.2 thousand hectares due to the provision of land plots to peasant farms and agricultural formations, citizens for haymaking and grazing.

As part of agricultural land, agricultural land is 11,710 thousand hectares (including: arable land - 1473.8 thousand hectares, perennial plantings - 0.7 thousand hectares, fallow lands - 81.2 thousand hectares, hayfields - 488, 7 thousand hectares, pastures - 9665.6 thousand hectares, other lands - 247 thousand hectares).

The number of peasant (farmer) households is 16362, they occupy an area of 9559.1 thousand hectares. Compared to 2019, there was an increase in peasant households (farms) by 944, an increase in land on an area of 566.9 thousand hectares due to the provision of existing farms and the organization of new agricultural formations.

The number of agricultural legal entities is 740 on an area of 2,216.5 thousand hectares. Compared to 2019, legal agricultural formations in general increased by 121, the area increased by 146.9 thousand hectares.

Lands of settlements. The area of land of settlements was 2947.1 thousand hectares. The area decreased by 6 thousand hectares due to the establishment of the boundaries of settlements.

The number of settlements is - 719, compared to 2019, there was a decrease by 17, due to the abolition and clarification of the number of settlements:

- in Ayagoz district - 1 settlement was added based on verification with statistics;

- in Borodulikha district - 5 settlements were abolished (Joint resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat of December 9, 2019 No. 427 and the decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat of December 13, 2019 No. 35/388-VI);

-in the Altai region - 1 settlement was abolished (Joint resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat of December 9, 2019 No. 427 and the decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat of December 13, 2019 No. 35/388-VI);

- in the Kokpektinsky district - 2 settlements were abolished (Joint decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat dated November 5, 2019 No. 34/379-VI and the resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat dated November 6, 2019 No. 387);

- in the Kurchum region - 5 settlements were abolished (Joint decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat dated November 5, 2019 No. 34/379-VI and the resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat dated November 6, 2019 No. 387);

- in Ulan region - 2 settlements were abolished (Resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat of November 6, 2019 No. 388, decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat of November 5, 2019 No. 34/382-VI);

- in the Urdzhar district - 2 settlements were abolished (Joint decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat dated December 13, 2019 No. 35/402-VI and the resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat dated December 9, 2019 No. 428);

- in the Shemonaikha region - 1 settlement was abolished (Joint decision of the East Kazakhstan regional maslikhat dated November 5, 2019 No. 34/379-VI and the resolution of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat dated November 6, 2019 No. 387).

Lands for industry, transport, communications, for the needs of space activities, defense, national security and other non-agricultural purposes. The area of industrial, transport, communications, defense and other non-agricultural land is 135.9 thousand hectares. Compared to 2019, there is a decrease in land of this category by 8.9 thousand hectares, due to the end of the lease term and the liquidation of enterprises.

Lands of specially protected natural areas. The area of land of this category in 2020 increased by 9.7 thousand hectares and is 1551.8 thousand hectares.

The increase by 9.5 thousand hectares was due to the alignment of the territory of the SER "Semey Ormany" and the Alakol State Natural Reserve in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Forest lands. The total area of forest lands in 2020 amounted to 2153.9 thousand hectares.

Lands of the water fund.The area of land of this category has not changed and is 571.2 thousand hectares.

The reserve lands amount to 9029.9 thousand hectares, compared with 2019, it decreased by 881 thousand hectares due to the transfer to other categories of land.

The structure of agricultural land. The structure of agricultural land. The total area of agricultural land was 22655.6 thousand hectares.

In the structure of agricultural land, the share of arable land is 1495.5 thousand hectares, fallow lands - 213.9 thousand hectares, perennial plantations - 5.8 thousand

hectares, hayfields - 1058.9 thousand hectares, pastures - 19881.5 thousand hectares. .ha.

The area of arable land in general increased by 6.9 thousand hectares due to the transfer from pastures and hayfields, in the Beskaragai region - increased by 6.35 thousand hectares, in the Zharma region - increased by 0.15 thousand hectares, in the Ulan region - decreased by 0.2 thousand hectares, Shemonaikha region - increased by 0.2 thousand hectares, in Semey - increased by 0.4 thousand hectares.

The area of hayfields decreased by 4.8 thousand hectares, the area of pastures decreased by 9.1 thousand hectares

The area of irrigated land as of November 1, 2020 is 195.9 thousand hectares, changes have occurred due to the transfer of 0.1 thousand hectares to irrigated arable land in the city of Semey.
