PUBLIC DISCUSSION OF REGULATORY IMPACT ANALYSIS IN THE FIELD OF REGULATION OF ECONOMIC CONCENTRATION

The agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the protection and development of competition (hereinafter referred to as the agency) conducted an analysis of the regulatory impact in the field of regulation of economic concentration within the framework of amendments to the business code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the code).

The proposed changes are introduced in paragraph 6 of Article 200 of the code (6-1. economic concentration is considered insignificant if it is concluded without the consent of the antimonopoly authority and can be declared invalid by the court at the request of the antimonopoly authority).

In this regard, the agency informs about the holding of a public discussion on March 11, 2024 at 11:00 in accordance with paragraph 20 of the rules for the regulatory use of regulatory instruments and (or) requirements, approved by order of the Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2015 No. 748.

Based on the results of public discussions, the RTP will be posted on the "open NPA" portal in the mode.
