A SEMINAR ON ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY WAS HELD

On the initiative of the agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the protection and development of competition, together with the Anti-Corruption Agency, a seminar was held to promote anti-corruption initiatives among the employees of the organizing body. This initiative reflects the desire of the antimonopoly authority to create a solid foundation for combating corruption at all levels of its activities.

The leading speaker was Zhazira Zhaksylykovna Zhylkyshieva, an officer for the most important prevention of the Anti - Corruption Agency, colonel of the Anti-Corruption service.

The seminar discussed the following aspects of the fight against corruption:

Legal basis for combating corruption;
The need to modernize anti-corruption legislation;
Methods and strategies for preventing corruption.

Particular attention was also paid to the issues of internal analysis of corruption risks, expected changes in anti-corruption legislation, including current and planned anti-corruption reforms.

It is important to note that during the seminar, it was said not only about increasing the knowledge and awareness of wkda employees about anti-corruption legislation, but also about encouraging the formation of a culture of absolute intolerance to corruption in their professional activities.

The agency for the protection and development of competition fully supports the anti-corruption policy pursued by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and expresses readiness for further cooperation within this area.
