The Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition revealed an anti-competitive agreement between KTZ-GP and Hill Corporation (manufacturer of engine oil) in the amount of more than 624 million tenge in the supply of engine oil for locomotives.
As of today, the materials of the antimonopoly investigation have been transferred to the AFM RK for pre-trial investigation. This was announced during the board by the Chairman of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition, Marat Omarov.
According to the ARC, KTZ-GP applied discriminatory conditions to potential suppliers during the purchase of motor oils, which were aimed at eliminating their participation in purchases.
Thus, initially, the actions of KTZ-GP were carried out in the interests of HILL Corporation.
At the same time, the results of the investigation are currently being appealed in court, therefore, the person is considered innocent of committing an offense until his guilt is recognized by a court decision that has entered into force.
