WORKING GROUP FORMED NEW COMPOSITION OF PUBLIC COUNCIL UNDER APDC

In accordance with the regulatory legal acts regulating public councils of central state bodies of Kazakhstan, the Working Group on the formation of the public council of the agency for protection and development of competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Public Council) informs that the composition of the public council under the APDC has been formed. A reserve list of candidates of the public council has also been formed in case of withdrawal of a member of the public council.

The competitive procedures were held two months before the end of the powers of the first staff of the public council of the APDC (December 8, 2023). Members of the Council of the first composition took part in the competition on the general basis provided for by Article 10 of the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public councils.

The new council includes representatives of a non-profit organization and civil society.

The term of office of the elected council is three years. The list of powers of the council, the rights and obligations of its members is regulated by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on public councils" and "on public control" and is carried out free of charge.
