ANNOUNCEMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL COMPETITION FOR THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL OF THE AGENCY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

ANNOUNCEMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL COMPETITION FOR THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL OF THE AGENCY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION OF COMPETITION

In accordance with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 2, 2015 No. 383-V" on public councils " (hereinafter referred to as the law) and the model regulation on public councils, the Working Group on the formation of the Public Council of the agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the protection and development of competition (hereinafter referred to as the Council) announces a competition among citizens and representatives of non - profit organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The quantitative composition of the council is 15 people, including 3 – representatives of state bodies, 12 – representatives of non-profit organizations, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who has reached the age of eighteen may become a candidate for a member of the Council.

Citizens who have expressed a desire to participate in the competition, representatives of non-profit organizations, within ten working days after the date of publication of the announcement of the competition, submit an application and (or) a proposal to a postal or e-mail address with the attachment of the necessary documents.

To participate in the competition, the candidate must submit the following documents::

1) a written proposal of a non-profit organization and (or)a citizen's application for the nomination of a candidate to the Council (annexes 1 and 2);

2) information about the professional and (or)public activities of the candidate with the indication of biographical data (Appendix 3);

3) Certificate of the presence or absence of a criminal record;

4) the presence or absence of mental, behavioral disorders (diseases), including those related to the consumption of substances that actively affect the psyche.

4) independently or with written consent of the agency to request these certificates from information systems.

Requirements for candidates for members of the council:

1) have a criminal record that has not been destroyed or removed in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) the court, in accordance with the procedure established by law, has not recognized him guilty of committing a corruption crime and (or) a corruption offense;

3) are not registered in organizations providing medical care in the field of mental health for the cause of mental, behavioral disorders (diseases), including those related to the consumption of substances that actively affect the psyche.

The candidate in the Council presents the proposals, provided in the specified points 3) and 4) self-sufficient or subsequent agreement on the fight against the spread of the agency from the information system.

Deadline for submission of documents: November 10, 2023 inclusive.
