ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE COMPETITION FOR THE SELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE WORKING GROUP FOR THE FORMATION OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL

The agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the protection and development of competition (hereinafter referred to as the agency) announces a competition for the selection of members of the Working Group for the formation of a new composition of the public council in order to increase the transparency and transparency of its activities (in accordance with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan"on public councils").

The competition is held between citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives of non-profit organizations.

Documents are accepted from September 29 to October 4, 2023.

The quantitative composition of the Working Group is 6 people, including 2 – representatives of state bodies, 4 – representatives of non-profit organizations, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To participate in the competition, the following documents are submitted (https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/zk/documents/details/528449?lang=kk):

 Application of a citizen to nominate a candidate for the Working Group (Appendix 1);
Information about the professional and (or) public activities of the candidate (Appendix 2);
 Written proposal of a non-profit organization to nominate a candidate (if any) for membership in the Working Group (Appendix 3);
 A copy of the identity card of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

We draw your attention to the fact that observers who do not have the right to vote are representatives of non-governmental organizations, mass media, state bodies, and international organizations are allowed to participate in the meetings of the Working Group.

To participate in the meeting of the Working Group as an observer, a person who has expressed a desire to become an observer submits an application in the form (Appendix 4).
