THE PLAN OF INDUSTRY ANALYSES OF THE APDC IN 2023

The Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) annually conducts a planned analysis of the state of competition in certain commodity markets, which is a key tool for implementing competition policy.

         The results of the analysis determine the development of a set of measures aimed at protecting and developing competition in various sectors of the economy. Thus, according to the Concept of Protection and Development of Competition until 2026, the analysis of the state of competition conducted by the antimonopoly authority is the basis for the adoption by ministries of sectoral roadmaps for the development of competition.

         In order to form an effective dialogue with the expert community and the business environment, as well as involve them in the discussion of the recommendations being developed, the Agency announces an analysis of the state of competition in 18 commodity markets in 2023. 

         In this regard, we invite experts and the business community to take an active part in the development of the main directions of competition development and contribute to the common cause of eliminating problems that contribute to the distortion of the competitive environment in the commodity markets of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
