In order to promote the profession of firefighters and rescuers, as well as on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the civil protection bodies, the second cadet class of young rescuers "Zhas ORT sondirushi" was opened on the basis of secondary school No. 7.Otegen Batyr of ili district of Almaty region. The first such class was opened in this school on September 1, 2019. For cadets of both classes, special school uniforms were developed and sewn, similar to the uniforms of rescuers.
The purpose of opening such classes is civil and Patriotic education of the younger generation.
Training is conducted in both the state and Russian languages. The curriculum includes additional lessons, optional classes in the field of civil protection, initial military training, law enforcement classes, etc. Among other things, children are taught weekly thematic lessons by employees of the emergency Department of the Almaty region. On September 16, 2020, the first meeting of new cadets with employees of the emergency Department was held on the facade of the school. Rescuers clearly showed young rescuers how to provide first aid to people during emergencies. Then 23 students of the 5th grade visited the fire station No. 12.Otegen Batyr, where civil protection officers introduced children to special equipment and equipment designed to extinguish fires, demonstrated climbing the assault stairs to the window of the 4th floor of the training tower.
Children with great pleasure examined and studied the fire truck and firefighters ' combat clothing. With great interest, the young rescuers tried to provide first aid to the victim on the model, studied the technique, happily asked questions, and were proud of their choice of the rescue profession.
The project gave the first results, because the first-born cadets "Smartsarbaz ""ORT sondirushi" began to study harder, which positively affected the level of student achievement and discipline in General. Young cadets are easily trained and engaged in drill, actively participate in school and departmental events. As a result, the popularity of this class increased, which led to the creation of a second class of cadets.
