There is 1 inva-taxi (taxi for disabled people) service in the district. The Inva-taxi provides services to citizens with disabilities of group I. Inva-taxi delivers people with disabilities to work places, clinics and other necessary institutions free of charge. This service was rendered to 53 disabled people, 1626 orders were accepted from them.
There are 695 children with disabilities under the age of 18 in the district, of which there are 620 children with disabilities under the age of 16. There are 317 disabled children in the city of Zharkent, and 378 disabled children in the countryside. Social workers provide social services at home to 133 disabled children.
Social services at home for lonely elderly citizens are provided to 118 lonely elderly people.
