Small and medium-sized businesses in the district
According to the results of January 2021, 3312 small and medium-sized businesses operate in the district, including: 2164 peasant farms, 1021 individual entrepreneurs and 127 legal entities, 5660 people are employed at these enterprises.
The above-mentioned enterprises of the district provided works and services for 2 billion tenge, which is 101.5% higher than the level of the base year.
The industry of the district in January 2021 produced products for 532 million 400 thousand tenge, the index of physical volume was made by 146.2 %
Investments in fixed assets totaling 299 million 100 thousand tenge were attracted.
The trade turnover in the district amounted to 326 million tenge, the consumer price index compared to the previous year was 100.0%.
The district is implementing a major investment project for the construction of a cement plant with a capacity of 1.2 million tons per year by Alatsem LLP, the project of this plant was included in the industrialization map in February 2016.
According to the state program "Business Roadmap 2020", together with the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the district, projects of various directions are constantly sent to the regional department of Entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development and the Damu Entrepreneurship Support Fund. Within the framework of this program, in 2020, 12 entrepreneurs were allocated loans in the amount of 460 million 283 thousand tenge.
