Usharal Airport is one of the main infrastructure facilities for tourism development in Almaty region.

Today, on the eve of the tourist season, an 80-seat comfortable passenger plane "Bombardier DASH 8 Q400" of the airline "Qazaq air" made its first flight on the route "Nur – Sultan - Usharal-Nur-Sultan" to the airport "Usharal"of the Alakol district.

The first passengers were personally met by the President of the airline "Zhetysu" Kalmukhamet Donsebayev. According to him, at the moment the airport of the city of Usharal is fully ready to receive and release aircraft.

- We do everything for a safe and comfortable flight of citizens. All our specialists have improved their skills by obtaining the appropriate certificates. At the same time, due to the epidemiological situation, all existing sanitary standards are observed, " the head of the airline said.

Meanwhile, there is a noticeable activity at the Usharal airport. Flights are operated almost every hour. For example, today 18 people have arrived from Almaty, and in turn, 29 passengers are flying in the opposite direction. 16 people arrived from the capital on the first flight, and the aircraft flew there with 9 passengers.
It should be noted that on the eve of the start of the tourist season, flights on the route "Almaty – Usharal - Almaty" (daily), "Nur-Sultan – Usharal - Nur-Sultan" (four times a week) and "Taldykorgan – Usharal - Taldykorgan" (daily) began to operate.
From June 1, flights to Nur-Sultan - Usharal-Nur-Sultan will also be operated daily.
Ticket prices are available thanks to the allocated subsidies from the republican and regional budgets. For example, in the direction "Nur-Sultan-Usharal-Nur-Sultan" it is 16 thousand tenge, "Almaty-Usharal-Almaty" – 15 thousand tenge," Taldykorgan - Usharal - Taldykorgan " - 8 thousand tenge.

All the aircraft involved are highly safe and comfortable. These are such aircraft as "Bombardier CRJ200", "Bombardier DASH 8 Q400", LET L-410.
