Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 21, 2020 No. 439
In accordance with subparagraph 2) of article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, article 85 of the constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan", I DECREE:
Appoint the next election of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected on party lists, for January 10, 2021.
Schedule regular elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected by the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, for January 11, 2021.
The Central election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan should organize preparation and holding of regular elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims of the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and regions should take the necessary measures for organizational, material, technical and financial support of the regular elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This Decree comes into effect from the date of publication.
