What is the procedure for placing on the waiting list for housing ?
In accordance with article 71 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On housing relations" accounting of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which may be provided to the dwelling from municipal housing stock or the dwelling rented by local Executive body in private housing stock is carried out at the place of residence by the local Executive body area, the city of regional value, cities of Republican significance, the capital.
In accordance with paragraph 1 of article 71 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on housing relations", housing from the state housing Fund or housing rented by a local Executive body in a private housing Fund is provided to citizens who are registered in need, in the order of priority established by lists, from the moment of submitting an application with all necessary documents.
In accordance with article 67 of this law, local Executive bodies keep records of citizens who need to provide housing on a separate list:
Veterans of the great Patriotic war;
Orphans, children left without parental care;
Mothers with many children who were awarded the "Altyn Alka", "Kumis Alka" pendants or previously received the title "Mother-heroine", as well as those awarded the" Mother's glory " orders of I and II degrees, large families.
Socially vulnerable segments of the population, Civil servants, employees of budgetary organizations, military personnel, candidates for cosmonauts, cosmonauts, employees of special state bodies and persons holding state elected positions;
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan whose only home is recognized as an emergency in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In accordance with paragraph 4 of article 74 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on housing relations" (hereinafter-the Law), veterans of the great Patriotic war, orphans and children left without parental care, mothers with many children have the primary right to receive housing from the state housing Fund or housing rented by a local Executive body in a private housing Fund.
