OPERATOR ROP LLP SIMPLIFIED THE PROCEDURE FOR CONCLUDING A WASTE PROCESSING CONTRACT
Under the new policy, announced at the enlarged meeting of the branch at the site of the Ministry of ecology, Geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan 18 September 2020 LLP "Operator ROP" (hereinafter – the Operator) made the decision to change the principle of operation concerning the collection, processing, transportation, disposal, use and (or) disposal of waste generated after the loss of consumer properties (hereinafter referred to packaging waste). Thus, the operator canceled tender procedures for organizing the collection, processing and transportation of packaging waste for 2021-2022, simplified procedures for concluding contracts, and reduced the list of documents required for signing a contract with the operator, submitted by potential suppliers. In addition, the term of concluded contracts has been extended to two years.
Thus, enterprises engaged in the collection, processing and transportation of packaging waste (hereinafter referred to as potential suppliers) have the opportunity to conclude contracts with the operator for financing the collection, processing and transportation of packaging waste.
Financing is the operator's subsidies for the organization of waste collection, processing and transportation in the following (average) amounts:
1) glass packaging waste-36,459 Tg / ton;
2) waste of paper and cardboard packaging-27,921 Tg / ton;
3) waste of polymer (plastic) packaging – 45 714 Tg / ton.

the operator's Financing of the activities of garbage collection organizations would cover part of the costs from the population for the removal of solid waste.
In addition, the Operator, within its competence, coordinates tariffs for the collection, export, disposal, processing and disposal of solid household waste and will not consider it justified to increase this tariff for regions that do not have contracts concluded with the operator by garbage collection organizations and (or) enterprises that manage landfills under this procedure.
