As part of information and explanatory work among the population, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund will hold an "Open Doors Day" on August 27 in a new online format. Anyone who wants to use a special online platform can attend this event without leaving home.
The theme of the event is "First installment - Welcome to the UAPF". As you know, from January 8, 2019, in accordance with the amendments to the Law on Pension Provision of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an individual does not need to contact the UAPF service offices to open an individual retirement account (IPS) for accounting for mandatory pension contributions (OPV). Note that over 1 million new accounts were opened in automatic mode in the first half of 2020 alone. The owners of these accounts will become special guests of this event and will be able to ask their questions to the specialists of UAPF JSC. They will be told about how the accumulative pension system of Kazakhstan functions, help to calculate the future pension, and recommend the most efficient way to obtain information about the state of the individual retirement account.
In addition, the purpose of this event is to comprehensively inform depositors on other issues related to the operation of the pension system.
