Hello, my father works in the police and I would like to know how he will receive his pension in the future? What is the role of the UAPF in future payments? Or will all payments be provided only from the budget?
Since the beginning of 2016, employees of law enforcement agencies, regardless of their length of service as of 01.01.1998, were transferred to full state pension coverage. The size of the pension is set at the rate of 50% of the salary (DS), while for each year of service (over 25 years) the size of the pension increases by 2%, for each year of work experience - by 1% of the DS, but not more than 109 MCI established by the law on the republican budget. At the same time, from January 1, 2016, the payment of 20% of mandatory pension contributions in favor of military personnel at the expense of the republican budget to the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund, which was carried out earlier, was stopped. Thus, from January 1, 2016, the right to pension payments for seniority has been enjoyed by law enforcement officers with a total length of service of twenty-five years or more, of which at least twelve years and six months are continuous military service, service in special state and law enforcement bodies, the state courier service, and those dismissed upon reaching the age limit established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in military service, service in special state and law enforcement agencies, the state courier service, or on staff reduction or health conditions.
At the same time, the right to pension payments for seniority comes only if 50 percent of the amount of mandatory pension contributions transferred from budgetary funds before January 1, 2016 from individual pension accounts opened with the UAPF is returned. Also, for the retired people, a one-time recalculation of the previously assigned pension payments was carried out in an incomplete volume, taking into account their full size, taking into account the length of service and seniority on the day of dismissal from service, available in the pension case, also subject to the return of 50% from the amount of mandatory pension contributions.
The right to use the remaining half of pension savings (the remaining 50%) from the UAPF will be exercised in accordance with the pension legislation.
So, persons who have pension savings in the UAPF have the right to pension payments from the UAPF at the expense of compulsory pension contributions:
1) men who have reached the retirement age upon reaching 63 years; women upon reaching 59.5 years from 1 January 2020. From 1 January 2021 - 60 years, from 1 January 2022 - 60.5 years, from 1 January 2023 - 61 years, from 1 January 2024 - 61.5 years, from 1 January 2025 - 62 years, from January 1, 2026 - 62.5 years, from January 1, 2027 - 63 years;
2) if pension savings are sufficient to ensure payment of not less than the minimum pension by concluding a pension annuity agreement with an insurance company. Men upon reaching 55 years of age and women upon reaching 51.5 years from January 1, 2020;
3) disabled persons of the first and second groups, if the disability is established for an indefinite period;
4) those who have left for permanent residence outside the Republic
Kazakhstan foreigners and stateless persons who submitted documents determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, confirming the fact of departure.
We draw your attention to the fact that the assignment of pension payments for seniority, the state basic pension payment is carried out by the relevant authorized state bodies. In the case of your father, a police officer, the appointment is carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Thus, in order to obtain detailed information on the procedure for assigning seniority pension payments and the state basic pension payment, we recommend that you contact the relevant authorized state body of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Good afternoon, my uncle has his own point of sale and works for himself. How will he receive his pension in the future if he does not transfer money to the pension fund? Is it enough to pay just a single cumulative payment?
Firstly, it is worth understanding what a Single Aggregate Payment (hereinafter CAP) is. For a year now, a new type of tax regime for self-employed citizens has been operating in Kazakhstan - called the CAP. This payment is intended for the following categories of citizens:
employees of personal subsidiary plots;
unpaid family workers;
entrepreneurs without employees with a turnover of less than 1,175 MCI per year.
At the same time, the CAP applies only to the following activities:
Providing services exclusively to individuals;
Sale exclusively to individuals of agricultural products of personal subsidiary plots of their own production.
