More than 14.4 trillion tenge were the pension savings of Kazakhstanis as of December 1, 2022. At the same time, since the beginning of the year, this indicator has increased by more than 1.3 trillion tenge (or 10.2%).
Approximately the same increase - 9.9% or 1.2 trillion tenge was demonstrated by savings on individual pension accounts (IPA) on mandatory pension contributions (OPC). As of December 1, more than 13.9 trillion tenge was accumulated on these accounts.
The amount of pension savings on mandatory professional pension contributions (OPPC) amounted to about 436 billion tenge, having increased by 20.7% over 11 months.
The largest increase - 94.5% since the beginning of the year - was demonstrated by the accumulation of voluntary pension contributions (VPC), which exceeded 3.3 billion tenge.
More than 1.5 trillion tenge was received by the IRS in the form of pension contributions from January 1 to December 1, 2022. This is 30% more than in the same period last year. The growth occurred in all types of contributions: compared to the same period last year, the volume of OPC increased by 29% (or by 329.5 billion tenge), OPC - by 39% (or by 19.4 billion tenge), the largest increase - 212% or 1.4 billion tenge - occurred under the DPV.
More than 777 billion tenge was transferred to the accounts of depositors and recipients in the form of net investment income.
Payments from the UAPF since the beginning of the year have exceeded 1.1 trillion tenge. Most of the payments were still lump-sum pension payments (CPS) for the improvement of housing conditions and treatment - 902 billion tenge. The volume of payments for alternative purposes decreased by 58% compared to the previous year.
Payments by age increased by 22.6% and amounted to about 109 billion tenge. It should be noted that the amount of the average monthly payment according to the schedule from the UAPF (in connection with reaching the retirement age) amounted to 29,876 tenge, and the maximum amount of the monthly payment was 707,326 tenge.
Inheritance payments were also made - 55.8 billion tenge, payments in connection with leaving for permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan - 45.3 billion tenge, disability payments - 2.2 billion tenge, funeral payments - 4.9 billion tenge. About 23.2 billion tenge was transferred to insurance organizations.
The number of individual pension accounts in the UAPF as of December 1, 2022 amounted to 12.1 million units, 10.9 million - for mandatory pension contributions. As of December 1, 2022, there were 592,250 IPS accounts, and 356,116 IPS were opened for recording AHs.
