These are modern minibuses that are equipped with everything necessary for servicing investors, including modern means of satellite communications. Thus, residents of remote settlements can receive the same services in the Mobile Office as in the UAPF branches, in particular, receive an account statement, open an individual pension account for voluntary pension contributions, change the way of informing, and much more. Now UAPF mobile offices ply 10 regions of the republic (Almaty, Atyrau and Kostanai, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Akmola, Zhambyl, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan). In 2020, it is additionally planned to implement the Mobile Office project in three more areas: East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan and Turkestan.
UAPF was established on August 22, 2013 on the basis of JSC NPF GNPF. The UAPF founder and shareholder is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the State Institution “Committee of State Property and Privatization” of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. UAPF pension assets are managed by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since January 1, 2016, the functions to develop proposals to improve the management of pension assets have been transferred to the National Fund Management Council.
