As part of the outreach to the population, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund on March 18 in branches throughout Kazakhstan holds an “Open Day”.
The main agenda will be the topic - “Down payment - Welcome to the UAPF”. As you know, from January 8, 2019, in accordance with the amendments to the Law on Pension of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to open an individual pension account (IPA) to account for mandatory pension contributions (OPV), an individual does not need to contact the UAPF service offices. It should be noted that about 400 thousand accounts were opened in automatic mode and many of them will visit the branches of UAPF JSC for the first time on Open Doors Day. The owners of these accounts will be special guests of this event. They will be told about how the funded pension system of Kazakhstan functions, they will help to calculate the future pension, they will recommend the most efficient way to obtain information about the state of an individual pension account.
In addition, the purpose of this event is to comprehensively inform investors on other issues related to the operation of the pension system.
