On July 04, 2022, the terms of authority of the akims of Kasyk and Kenensky rural districts, established by law, expire.
On September 12, 2022, the terms of authority of the akims of Zhambyl and Karasai rural districts, established by law, expire.
Extracts from the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan":
Elections of the akim of a city of district significance, village, settlement, rural district are appointed by the relevant district (city) election commission at least forty days before the expiration of the term of office of the akim of a city of district significance, village, settlement, rural district and must be held at least ten days before the expiration of the term of office established by law, except with the exception of the cases specified in paragraph 6 of Article 113-3 and Article 113-9 of this Constitutional Law.
Elections of the akim of a city of district significance, village, settlement, rural district are appointed by the relevant district (city) election commission within a month from the date of early termination of the powers of the akim of a city of district significance, village, settlement, rural district or reorganization of the corresponding administrative territorial unit and are held within thirty days from the date of their appointment.
The announcement of the election is published in local mass media and on the Internet pages of territorial election commissions.
