On the assignment of the name of Kulshikov Omirkul to a new lane at the intersection of Abay and Tlemis streets in the village of Otegen of the Karasu rural district.

On 27.01.2021, the akim of the Kordai district, on behalf of honorary citizens of the Republic, including respected elders, was asked to name an alley in the village of Otegen of the Karasu rural district after Kulshikov Omirkul..
In connection with the population census last year, these works were temporarily suspended, this year, based on your proposals, guided by paragraph 1 of Article 14-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 "On the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 24, 2014 No. 138 "On approval of the Rules for taking into account the opinion of the population of the relevant territory when naming, renaming administrative-territorial units, constituent parts of settlements,
as well as clarifying and changing the transcription of their names," taking into account your opinion, we are holding a meeting to consider this issue.
In this regard, each of the participants of the meeting can express their opinion.
Aksakal of the village K.Baysarin: As the akim of the village Raya Turganovna told, in
last year we appealed to the akim of the district with a proposal to name an alley in this village after our countryman, the late Omirkul Kulshikov.
We all know, Omirkula Kulshikova. What works he did in his time. In the stories, he was the initiator of the reburial of the remains of our ancestor Otegen Batyr in his native land. I think it is correct to assign the name of such a person to this lane.
The head of the peasant farm "Karasu" M.Nurmakhanbetov: I have known my grandfather Omirkul since childhood, I have heard about his many works. He worked in our village, and many well-deserved jobs. I join the words of the village elder and support. Retired B.Ormankulova: We are fully familiar with the biography of Omirkul Kulshikov. We are proud that such a person was born and worked in our village. On behalf of the villagers, I want to say that we unanimously support this proposal.
