Within the framework of Nauryznam, on the eve of the celebration of Nauryz Meiram, the leadership and staff of the Supreme Judicial Council met with retired judge of the Supreme Court, ex-chairman of the Judicial Jury under the Council Akyltai Kasimov.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Judicial Jury Nurzhan Kayypzhan and Deputy Chief of the Office Laura Kurmantayeva conveyed congratulations and warm wishes on behalf of the Chairman of the Council Dmitriy Malakhov.

Akyltai Kasimov is one of the most experienced and reputable judges in the republic, with more than 40 years of judicial experience who has made a significant contribution to the development of the country's judicial system. He was a chairman of two judicial boards of the Supreme Court and several regional courts. In addition, he was at the threshold of the formation of the Judicial Jury as an independent body under the Supreme Judicial Council.

Akyltai Kasimov's work has been awarded with state and departmental awards. With his direct participation and support in all state bodies and in the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan the important legislative acts were developed and adopted aimed at improving of legal proceedings and judicial organization, protecting the rights of judges, as well as increasing guarantees of their independence and inviolability.

Today, Akyltai Kasimov, Doctor of Law, continues to conduct scientific and teaching activities.
