The next meeting of the Judicial Jury under the Supreme Judicial Council has been held

During the meeting 7 disciplinary cases against 7 judges were considered.

After cases consideration for gross violations of the rule of law 3 judges were brought to disciplinary responsibility: one judge was reprimanded, two judges got punishment in the form of dismissal from their judicial posts.

At the same time, disciplinary proceedings have been terminated relating 4 judges. Of these, 1 due to the absence of a disciplinary offense, 1 due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, and 2 judges due to their dismissal from the post of a judge at their own request.

A request for early removal of a previously imposed disciplinary penalty against one judge was denied.

The decisions of the Judicial Jury have not entered into legal force, since judges who have been disciplined have the right to appeal to the Supreme Judicial Council.
