The Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for vacant positions of judges of the newly formed cassation courts

The Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for vacant positions of judges of new cassation courts. On December 27, 2024, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan 3 cassation courts (in civil, criminal and administrative cases) were established in Astana, which will begin their work on July 1, 2025.

In this regard, on January 22 this year, the Supreme Judicial Council announced a competition for 87 vacant judicial positions: - Court of Cassation for Civil Cases – 39 vacancies; - Court of Cassation for Criminal Cases – 29 vacancies; - Court of Cassation for Administrative Cases – 19 vacancies.

Citizens who meet the requirements, established by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Judicial System and Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for judges of cassation courts are allowed to participate in the competition.

The package of necessary documents for participation in the competition must be sent to the Supreme Judicial Council by February 12, 2025, inclusive, at the address: 010000, Astana, Mangilik El ave. 8, House of Ministries, entrance No. 1B, the Supreme Judicial Council.
