At the initiative of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Chairman of the Council Dmitriy Malakhov met with the Office of the Astana City Court

At the initiative of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Chairman of the Council Dmitriy Malakhov met with the Office of the Astana City Court.

The event was attended by the members of the Council, the Chairman of the Court Akan Zhumagulov and the Head of the Judicial Administration Department Eldos Zhumaksanov, the specialists of the court and eight district courts of Astana.

In total, more than 200 specialists took part in the meeting.  

The Chairman of the Council D. Malakhov in his welcoming speech to the Office of the court outlined the main objectives of his visit.

"The activities of the Supreme Judicial Council are open and transparent. I would like to note that all possible measures have been taken recently to increase the attractiveness of the professional position of a judge. Employees of the judicial system are potential candidates for judges, as they are in a constant contact with the work of courts and and understand their specifics. I believe that such employees after gaining sufficient experience and professional skills in courts, should join the judicial corps," D. Malakhov noted. The

Council members Sisenova N., Sharov G., Zhakulin A. spoke about the historical, legal, informational and organizational features of the Supreme Judicial Council as a body that implements personnel policy in the judicial system.  

It was pointed out that one of the main activities of the Council is the use of all modern components of HR management in the selection of judicial personnel.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views on topical issues.
