«Abay readings»

On August 7, 2020, the Department for the development of languages of the East Kazakhstan region held the regional competition "Abay readings" in online mode.

The competition was held among representatives of different ethnic groups from all regions of the East Kazakhstan region in order to educate the younger generation in the spirit of the priceless heritage of the great Abay.

The competition was attended by representatives of different ethnic groups aged 18 to 29 years, who simultaneously possess artistic skills and singing.

According to the terms of the competition, the participants recited Abay's poems by heart in the first round.

In the second round, the words of the poet's edification on the topic of teaching, art, and science were recited by heart. And in the third round - participants performed folk songs and songs of Abay.

According to the results of the regional competition participant Ulan district, the winner of the district competition, a resident of East Gubochkin Victoria S. won the II prize place.
