Fire safety during the collection and transportation of feed

The main causes of fires during harvesting and storage of hay are: careless handling of fires by residents and children, sparks of fire from combine harvesters and tractors.

In order to protect against fires when weeding and using straw hay, you should follow the following rules::

Mown grass should be well dried, then collected in buckets and stored in the form of a bucket for 10-12 days and packed in May;
Weeding should be carried out horizontally in the direction of the main wind, measuring 20x5x4 meters. This ensures ventilation of the grass and free transfer of accumulated heat to the surrounding atmosphere;
When harvesting feed in the gardens of a private residential building, it is placed at a distance of at least 15 meters from the building and outbuildings in front of the door. If it is not possible to place feed at such a distance, then you can reduce the distance to 5 meters by providing additional water with a capacity of at least 500 liters.
Not allowed:
Laying of grass on the roof of stables and other outbuildings;
Pile grass under electrical wires;
At a distance of at least 3 meters from the external fence of the site.;
Place feed, weeding grass on the street, along the road and away from the plot of the House.

Feed transportation is carried out by vehicles with exhaust pipes laid under the radiator and specially equipped with a spark extinguisher.

Vehicles transporting feed are additionally equipped with two powder fire extinguishing agents.

When laying grass, the height of the grass should be no higher than 4 meters from the ground.
