Non-exchangeable and non-refundable items To the list

The consumer has the right to return or exchange non-food goods of proper quality if the goods for one reason or another did not fit the consumer within the period established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Consumer Rights Protection" dated May 4, 2010 No. 274-IV.

In accordance with Article 30 of the Law, the seller (manufacturer) is obliged to ensure the exchange or return of non-food goods of proper quality, if it was not in use, its presentation, consumer properties, seals, labels, as well as a document confirming the fact of the purchase of the goods, if a longer period is not established by the contract, from the date of purchase of the goods.

However, the legislation provides for a list of appropriate goods that cannot be exchanged or returned within fourteen calendar days from the date of purchase.:

1) medicines and medical devices;

2) underwear;

3) hosiery;

4) animals and plants;

5) square footage goods, namely fabrics made of fibers of all kinds, knitted and curtain fabrics, artificial fur, carpets, nonwovens, ribbons, lace, braid, wires, cords, cables, linoleum, baguette, film, oilcloth;

6) cellular subscriber devices.
