Safety rules for the May weekend
The weekend of May is approaching, when residents of the Ulan district go out to nature en masse every year. Someone organizes a barbecue in nature, and someone walks in the forest and enjoys the warmth of incredibly warm days. All this is good, but you need to think about the rules of behavior. According to statistics, most forest and steppe fires are caused by the fault of people. Many leave an unquenchable fire and cigarette butts. Dry grass and last year's leaves begin to burn and burn.
For unauthorized burning and uncontrolled fall of dry grass in agricultural areas, burning of mown grass and non – compliance with fire safety rules in Forest and steppe areas, liability is provided in accordance with articles 336, 367, 410 of the Code of administrative offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The amount of the fine for such an offense is from three to 40 monthly calculation indices, which is 122,520 tenge. If more serious damage is caused to the property, the violator loses the amount of up to one hundred MCI (UP to 306,300 tenge).
Since the beginning of 2022, 11 fires have occurred in the steppe areas of the Ulan district, the causes of which are arson by unknown persons and unintentional use of open fire by the population.
In order to avoid a large-scale disaster, employees of the ULAN district emergency department annually conduct raid events in the favorite places of recreation of citizens. During them, vacationers are informed about the Basic Rules of safety of recreation in nature, and propaganda materials on fire-fighting topics are distributed.
DES of Ulan district urges residents and guests of the region to observe a number of basic fire safety rules during their stay in nature:
It is forbidden to build a fire;
Do not give up burning matches and cigarettes;
Do not burn grass;
Do not leave materials that are lubricated and impregnated with flammable substances;
Do not leave bottles and broken glass, they can be the lens of fire.
We also remind you about the rules of safety on reservoirs:
- If suddenly your holiday destination passes near a reservoir, and you decide to swim, do not forget about precautions. People who cannot swim or drink alcoholic beverages should not swim in the water at all, otherwise there is a risk of not returning home.
- do not leave children unattended, otherwise rest can lead to grief.
To prevent the occurrence of emergencies, it is very important to take care of nature and follow all the above rules.
