Fire-Hazardous period

Fire-Hazardous period

With the onset of the fire-hazardous period, the fire situation becomes more complicated. As a rule, during this period, unauthorized burning of dry grass and garbage occurs, and forest fires often occur.

During the period of operation of the regime, it is prohibited to build an open fire and burn garbage, as well as to carry out any fire-hazardous work.

There is a false opinion that burning last year's dry grass is useful for the land, fertilizing it with ash, so many citizens specially organize the fall of grass.

Do not allow it under any circumstances:

- dry grass fell;

- uncontrolled incineration of garbage;

- be careful when smoking: an unopened cigarette butt or match can easily cause dry grass to burn.

At home or in the country:

- fire extinguishing equipment should always be ready: bucket, shovel, water barrel, sand box;

- dry grass should be collected with a rake, which together with garbage can be burned in an iron barrel installed in a water tank near the reservoir or away from buildings;

- fear the gusts of wind.

When burning garbage even in an iron barrel, take into account the wind direction, so that sparks do not accidentally fly over buildings.

What safety measures should be observed in nature?

When going out into nature, on a private plot or dacha plot, it is necessary to take care in advance so that the fire place is far from the buildings and there is nothing nearby that can cause a fire. You can not light a barbecue under the crowns of trees and on the ground covered with dry needles and leaves. Immediately cover and set aside the liquid to ignite the coals.

If you notice a ignition-immediately call the fire service by phone "101" or "112" (from a mobile phone), then proceed to isolate the ignition with available means, observing the maximum caution.

What safety measures should be observed on the dacha plot?

Clean the territory of the dacha plot and adjacent territory in a timely manner from combustible waste, garbage, fallen leaves, grass. Remember that where there is no flammable medium, there is no fire. You can build a fire, burn waste in specially designated areas for this purpose, only under the supervision of a person.

Install a container with water on each structure. Buildings must have side stairs that reach the roof, and the attic must have a ladder that reaches the roof ridge. In order to prevent the transfer of fire to buildings and structures during forest and peat fires, arrange fire bars. Protect your property from fire from a strip of land cleared of soil. In the summer period, in conditions of stable dry, hot and windy weather, temporarily stop building fires, performing Fire-Hazardous works, and burning solid-fuel stoves.

Do not leave bottles in the open air, broken glass will become a lens in the sun, concentrating the sun's rays until the grass under it spontaneously burns.
