Employees of the Ulan district emergency department warn

Every year, residents of private residential buildings are engaged in cleaning the territory in their free time on spring break. The collected garbage is taken to specially designated places ,and the collected dry grass is burned under supervision. Some people often burn dry grass on their territory or in the immediate vicinity, along highways and on the outskirts of settlements, in the hope that new and better plants will grow on the site.

It should be recalled that in accordance with article 336 of the Code of administrative offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan - violation of fire safety during the incineration of industrial and household waste, entails a fine for individuals in the amount of twenty monthly calculation indices.

At the same time, the fire-hazardous situation is becoming more complicated. According to statistics, the causes of more than 30% of fires in the spring and summer fire-prone period are burning dry grass, burning garbage near buildings, unopened cigarette butts, children playing with fire .

Employees of the ULANSKY district emergency department recommended strict compliance with a number of simple fire safety rules:

- pre-clear the territory adjacent to residential and garden plots of dry grass and debris;

- do not allow garbage disposal on the territory of residential buildings, as well as near forest areas;

- do not burn garbage in residential buildings, suburban areas and forest areas;

- during a fire-hazardous period, do not light a fire and do not use an open fire in the forest, do not throw away the remains of cigarettes;

- stop children playing with fire as much as possible;

"don't leave a torch unopened. It should be thoroughly filled with water or sprinkled with sand.
