On the results of the meeting of the Ethics Council of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the East Kazakhstan Region dated January 28, 2022

On January 28 this year, under the chairmanship of the Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the East Kazakhstan region Yerkebayev N.T., a meeting of the Ethics Council in East Kazakhstan region was held, with the invitation of the media.

At the meeting of the Ethics Council, a disciplinary case was considered against the head of the regional Department of Agriculture Gaylamazyan V.H., following which the members of the Ethics Council decided: for his violation of the norms of official ethics at one of the meetings with entrepreneurs, as well as for the violation committed during the performance of official duties related to the issue of payment of subsidies, to recommend to the akim of the region to impose a disciplinary penalty in the form of demotion.

Also, at the meeting of the Council, a disciplinary case was considered against the akim of one of the rural districts of the Tarbagatai district, S.B. Kaliev, on the grounds that he committed a disciplinary offense discrediting the civil service.

Based on the results of the discussion and comprehensive consideration of the circumstances, the disciplinary case against him was terminated by the Ethics Council, due to the absence of the composition of the disciplinary offense.

In addition, the meeting of the Ethics Council also considered the results of the analysis of the decisions considered at the Ethics Council and the results of the analysis of inspections conducted in state bodies on compliance with legislation in the field of public service.
