Employees of the civil protection of the Ulan district conduct daily propaganda work on the prevention of fires in residential sectors for the heating season, the prevention of deaths, the prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning during the operation of heating boilers and fire safety rules. Among them are both drinking families and families who leave their children to their fate. Special attention is paid to low-income families.
At this event, civil protection officers of the Ulan district, together with the local police service, conducted a tour of the residential buildings of low-income families, distributed memos. When conducting such raid events, employees often witness how parents leave their children locked up at home alone without thinking about how it might end. Children play with matches, and in case of fire they cannot go outside. Teaching your children elementary actions in case of fire, explaining what the consequences of playing with matches lead to, is primarily the task of parents. Conversations were held with all parents, memos were handed over indicating the rules of fire safety.
They also reminded homeowners to avoid a fire in the house, it is necessary to observe the following fire safety rules. Remember that the condition of the furnace must be monitored constantly. On the floor in front of the furnace there should be an intact pre-heating sheet of at least 50x70 centimeters in size made of non-combustible material. The approaches to the furnace from the side of the furnace door should be free. Furniture should be no closer than 70 centimeters from the furnace, and at least 125 centimeters from the furnace openings. In addition, the surfaces of furnaces and chimneys should be systematically cleaned of dust and other combustible deposits. Slag and ash must be removed to a specially designated safe place for them and filled with water. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. In case of fire, call 101/112.
