Customers who issue a passport and an identity card at the PSC can pay the state fee using a QR code. The Government, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, implemented the possibility of accepting payments directly from the operator of the migration service for citizens.
When applying for the service to the operator of the migration service, which receives applications for passport and identity card processing, the client can immediately pay the fee through the QR payment system of the Homebank or Kaspi banking applications without contacting the cashier.
"To pay in a matter of seconds is a digital reality that is already available to every second citizen of Kazakhstan. Previously, a QR code could be used to pay for services for the production and issuance of acts on land plots, registration of rights to real estate, condominium facilities and other public services in the field of land relations. Now there is an opportunity to pay without waiting at the cash register and for documentation services," said Azamat Esembulov, director of the Government for Citizens branch in East Kazakhstan region.
In eight months, 105 thousand state services for issuing passports and identity cards were provided to East Kazakhstan citizens. The amount of the state fee for an identity card is 584 tenge, for a passport - 23,336 tenge.
The government introduced the possibility of payment via QR for citizens in November 2020. Today, customers can pay for 146 types of public services. In total, the state corporation provides 662 types of public services from the state register.
