Field work

The Department of Emergency Situations of the Ulan district recalls the rules of fire safety, if observed, it is possible to prevent fires during field work:

Before the ripening of the grain crops, grain fields in the places where they are adjacent to forests, steppe strip, roads and railways are mowed and plowed with a strip of at least 4 meters wide.

Temporary field camps are located no closer than 100 meters from grain arrays, currents. The sites of field mills, grain currents are plowed with a strip of at least 4 meters wide.

In the immediate vicinity of the harvested grain arrays with an area of more than 25 hectares, a tractor with a plow is installed to plow the gorenje zone in case of fire.

Grain currents are located from buildings and structures no closer than 50 meters, and from grain arrays - 100 meters.

In the field, storage and refueling of petroleum products is carried out on special sites cleared of dry grass, combustible debris and plowed with a strip of at least 4 meters wide, or on plowing at a distance of 100 meters from currents, haystacks and straw, grain arrays and at least 50 meters from buildings.

Work on annealing of grass vegetation, fire residues, straw by the heads of agricultural enterprises (farms) (hereinafter referred to as agricultural saw) is carried out in compliance with the following fire safety measures:

1) before the start of the agricultural festival, an instruction is organized for its employees, as well as participants of this event on compliance with fire safety requirements, on ways to extinguish fires;

2) responsible persons are appointed for the duration of the agricultural fall;

3) in the case of agricultural fires in areas adjacent to forests, forest owners are informed a day before the work is carried out;

4) patrol posts equipped with fire extinguishing equipment are set up at the sites of agricultural fires at the rate of one fire tanker or adapted equipment, one tractor with a plow, fire extinguishers, shovels;

5) before carrying out, the territory of agricultural bollards is plowed with a strip of at least 8 meters wide and divided into plots of no more than 25 hectares;

6) woodlands, forest stakes, protective strips and landscaping plantings adjacent to the burned areas are plowed to a width of at least 8 meters;

7) agricultural bollards are carried out with a wind force of no more than 3 shafts (5 meters per second), on plowed areas under the control of responsible persons and workers;

8) in order to exclude the rapid spread of fire, the agricultural fall begins on the windward side;

Gorenje gorenje 9) at the end of the agricultural fall, a thorough examination of the perimeter of the burnt territory is provided, identification and elimination of all places of decay and burning foci, the deployment of guards within 3 hours to prevent a possible resumption of burning.
