Since the beginning of the fire-hazardous period of the current year to the present day, 32 steppe fires have been registered on the territory of the Ulan district on an area of 350 hectares. The main reason for the occurrence of fires is the careless handling of fire by the population (abandoned cigarette butts not extinguished in along highways and un-extinguished bonfires after rest, a malfunction of the tractor spark extinguisher).
In the period from September 4-6, 2021, 4 fires of dry grass occurred on the territory of the Eginsu rural district of the Ulan district, on an area of more than 80 hectares of dry grass, there was a threat to hayfields. Thanks to the timely and coordinated actions of employees of civil protection bodies and local law enforcement agencies, as well as residents, the spread of fire to large areas was prevented.
The case of fire of dry grass on the territory of the Ayyrtau and Eginsu rural districts has become more frequent.
Residents and guests of the Ulansky district are urged to follow the rules of fire safety and, if fire foci are detected, call the number "101" in a timely manner and inform the address and place of the fire.
