Since the beginning of the year, 43 fires have occurred on the territory of the Ulan district. It was found out that the main cause of fires – if it is not arson – is careless handling of matches, lighters, cigarette butts, open flame of candles and torches, electrical appliances - irons, stoves, as well as leakage of gas, gasoline and other flammable substances. A fire almost always occurs if the electrical wiring is broken, if homemade electrical appliances are included in the network. Every tenth fire is caused by children's pranks, when the child himself is not yet able to assess the full danger of playing with fire, and none of the adults has explained this to him.
Children are our future. But do we always think about what and how to do so that the child's life is joyful and happy, so that no trouble happens to him? Unfortunately, not all adults remember this. One of the reasons for these troubles, which parents should not forget, is the play of children with fire. As a result, the fire causes damage to personal property and poses a threat to the lives of citizens. Why is this happening? Most often due to the fault of the adults themselves. Kids left alone in the house without supervision are addicted to illegal games with matches. At the same time, they do not represent the serious consequences of playing with fire. Children left unattended often find something to do in the form of games with matches, lighters, smoldering coals, and the desire to experiment by setting fire to various materials, in the absence of fire handling skills, usually leads to very sad consequences. Not only young children like to play with fire, but also older children. Sometimes schoolchildren light bonfires in the courtyards. Such games of teenagers are no longer random in nature – it is the result of conscious actions. As a result, the thermal insulation of the pipes catches fire, the garbage in the elevator shafts or in the garbage collector ignites. Unfortunately, such cases are not isolated. At home and at school, you need to constantly conduct educational work with children, telling them what harm fires cause. The forms and methods of educating schoolchildren with a sense of respect for the safety of state and personal property are diverse. In all schools, with primary school students in the first place, it is necessary to organize dictation, essays, quizzes on this topic, as well as viewing special videos. The first thing you need to focus your children's attention on is the rules of behavior in case of fire:
you should not stay in a house or apartment, hide in closets, storerooms, under beds; engage in self-extinguishing a fire; risk your life by saving property; throw open windows and doors; climb down ropes, sheets, drainpipes; jump out of upper-floor windows; try to exit through a smoke-filled stairwell if a fire occurred outside the apartment; use the elevator.
Every child should know the phone numbers that can be used to call firefighters: "101" and "112". The most important thing that your children should learn is strict compliance with fire safety rules, which does not allow rash actions and games with fire. This is the duty and duty of every family.
