Rescuers of the emergency department of East Kazakhstan Region during the summer holidays are the best friends for children. To make the rest of boys and girls safe, emergency service employees visit recreation camps, where they hold a variety of events, demonstrating equipment, combat clothing, introducing the younger generation to security measures. So most of the time in the summer, children spend in the immediate vicinity of reservoirs and at the same time do not always follow the safety rules of this type of recreation. After visiting the children of orphanages who are vacationing in the summer camps of the village of Nizhniye Taiynty "Умит" and "Царкая долина", the rescuers held contests, relay races and competitions aimed at teaching water safety rules, competent behavior in case of fire and the ability to help the victim. "Our service is very much alarmed by the problem of proper children's recreation, because the number of drowned and injured children in fires is growing annually. That is why working with children is one of the many types of preventive work carried out under the auspices of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region. We also regularly inspect prohibited places for swimming, identify security violators with the police, and also conduct conversations with the population, warning against fatal mistakes during recreation near reservoirs," said Anastasia Sklyar, chief specialist of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region. For children, the rescuers conducted theoretical briefings, reminding that you need to go into the water slowly, gradually sinking to the optimal depth, always visiting only equipped bathing places and only with your parents. Then the children demonstrated their knowledge with a creative approach in a drawing contest on fire-fighting topics. The meeting ended with the most pleasant moment of acquaintance with a four-legged rescuer from the cynological service of the Emergency Department of East Kazakhstan Region. The happy children surrounded the "rescue dog" in a tight ring and stroked and greeted him with pleasure. No one remained indifferent on this day in the camp, even the counselors, because after such a necessary event, everyone had a whole baggage of knowledge.
