Registering Persons Who Want to Adopt Children

If you are a citizen of Kazakhstan who wants to adopt a child, the first thing you need to do is apply and register. This service is provided online at the e-government portal.

How to get the service online:

✅ Authorize on the portal and click the "Request online" button in the "Family" section.

✅ Fill out the application and sign it with an electronic digital signature.

📌 Attach the following documents to the application:

-A copy of the written consent of close relatives to adopt a child.

-A copy of a certificate of total income (certificate of salary from the place of work, income from entrepreneurial activity and other income of all family members living together).

-A copy of certificate of family status (copy of certificate of marriage (divorce), copies of birth certificates of children in the case of a child born before August 13, 2007 or outside of Kazakhstan (in the presence of children)).

-A copy of health certificate of applicant and spouse, if married, confirming the absence of diseases, and also certificate about absence of information about registration in narcological and psychiatric clinics.

-A copy of the document confirming the right to use the service recipient's and (or) spouse's housing (if there is no ownership of the housing).

✅You can see the result of the service in your personal account (in the section "History of Services"), where within 10 working days you will receive notification of the processing of your application. Be #aware!
