A long-awaited pregnancy for a resident of the city of Semey, who fell ill with a coronovirus infection, complicated by bilateral pneumonia with lung damage of 90% and respiratory failure, ended with a happy recovery and the birth of a healthy baby.

In December 2020, being in the last months of pregnancy, having fallen ill with a coronavirus infection and the resulting complications, she was hospitalized in the Perinatal Center of Semey, where for two months a team of experienced doctors fought for the life of the mother and baby.

According to the branch of the East Kazakhstan Region NAO "FSMS", a team of highly qualified doctors took all the necessary measures for the birth of the baby and the preservation of the mother's life. According to the Center, a caesarean section was performed in the interests of the mother and child. After giving birth, my mother's condition required emergency therapy. For one and a half months, the patient was in a separate intensive care unit, on a ventilator, after improving her condition, she was transferred to extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).

It is worth noting that in pregnant women and women in the postpartum period, due to many features, ECMO is practically not used, but to save the life of a young mother, it was decided to use all the possibilities

According to him, non-working pregnant women for registration and receiving benefits in the OSMS system should apply to their site in the polyclinic of attachment to a general practitioner. You can get to it without the status of insurance. After registration, the status will be assigned automatically.

If a non-working pregnant woman reveals the status of "not insured", the social health insurance fund provides a temporary status of an insured patient once and for a period of one month, which allows expectant mothers to pass a screening examination in time and pass the necessary list of tests. - There should be no cause for concern for unemployed pregnant women, they will receive all services for free. But to do this, you need to make an appeal through the Qoldau 24/7 mobile app, attach a VCC certificate of registration for pregnancy and specify your IIN. The appeal is processed immediately on the day of its registration – - said Galymzhan Abilov.

I would like to note that the state will not leave its citizens without media support. At the same time, every citizen is responsible for their own health, the health of their children and their loved ones. Returning to our story of a happy recovery, the most touching moment of this story was the moment when a mother met a baby born during her illness.
