How can I cancel an application for the transfer of pension savings to the trust management of an investment portfolio manager?

On the enpf website.kz there is a new service

Since January 2021, legislation has come into force that grants citizens the right to use part of their pension savings not only to improve housing conditions and (or) pay for treatment, but also to transfer it to investment management companies (investment portfolio managers – IPOs).

The pension savings of the depositor can be transferred to the management of the UIP:

- in an amount not exceeding the difference between the actual amount of the depositor's pension savings in the UAPF and the threshold of the minimum sufficiency of pension savings; or

- in the amount not exceeding the balance of pension savings on the depositor's account in the UAPF, if there is a pension annuity agreement with an insurance company that provides for lifetime payments.

In order to transfer pension savings to one or more UIPS, the depositor must apply to the UAPF with an application. The UAPF transfers the part of pension savings that exceeds the amount of sufficiency to the trust management of the UIP within 30 calendar days after the date of receipt of the application from the depositor. Prior to the transfer of the declared amount to the investment portfolio manager, the depositor may change his decision to transfer part of the savings to the trust management and cancel his application.

Having made such a decision, the depositor must apply to the UAPF with an application, which can be submitted in person to any regional UAPF office with an identity document, or through the Personal Account on the enpf website.kz, where a new service for canceling an application for transferring pension savings to the trust management of the UIP has been launched.

When submitting an application for cancellation, use your Personal Account on the ENPF website.kz you need to do the following:

first, you need to log in to your Personal Account;

next, go to the subsection of your Personal Account "Services" - "My applications for payments / transfers";

after you need to make sure that the status of the application that you want to cancel has the status - " Accepted for processing»;

further, when viewing the details of this application, the "Cancel" button will be active for selection»;

the next step is to read and express your consent/disagreement with the information provided, and sign the application with your personal EDS.

Note that if necessary, it is possible to view and / or download the application for cancellation.

 

UAPF was established on August 22, 2013 on the basis of JSC "NPF "GNPF". The founder and shareholder of the UAPF is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan is responsible for the trust management of the pension assets of the UAPF. Since January 1, 2016, the functions of developing proposals for improving the efficiency of pension asset management have been transferred to the National Fund Management Council.
